Jakarta, August 8th, 2012 – PT Agis Resources, a unit of PT Agis Tbk, is eyeing a gold miner in West Sumatera who has more than 5,000 hectares concession area.

“Agis Resources will acquire most shares of the company,” said Agis’s Corporate Secretary M. Noor Syahriel on a disclosure to PT Bursa Efek Indonesia, Wednesday (8/8/2012)

Such acquisition still needs to wait Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) approval and Ministry of Law and Human Rights, he explained.

BKPM approval is needed as Agis Resources is a joint venture between Agis and China-based Fujian Xinjifu Enterprise Co Ltd. (T05/TW)
