Regional Champions 2011 is the continuation of appreciation activities that have been conducted annually since 2009 by the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) for the best Provinces and enterprises. Through this event, BKPM rewards the Provinces who have managed to attract and provide the best services for the investors to conduct business activities in their areas. As well as, companies that have done well in investment activities and provide economic benefits, job creation, and been able to maintain the sustainability of business activities and environment (green business). This activity is intended to encourage an atmosphere of healthy competition between regions and businesses that ultimately create a conducive investment climate and economic equality in all parts of Indonesia.

This event is conducted through several phases as follow:

1. Determining the assessment criteria (Regional Economy, Human Resources, Mid-term Policies, Investment Potential, Infrastructure, National Single Window in Investment (NSWi), SPIPISE Implementation);
2. Data collecting;
3. Field visits to reconfirm data;
4. Independent assessment;

Awarding ceremony for the Best Provinces, Enterprises and NSWi 2011 (date and venue to be confirmed).
