INTRODUCTION
Capital investment is one of the main drivers of the national economy. In order to accelerate national economic development and to realize political and economic sovereignty in Indonesia, investment is needed to turn economic potential into real economic strength by using domestic and foreign investment.
In relation thereto, many linkages to realize its investment in Indonesia therefore the government has issued investment laws and regulations such as Law of the Republic Indonesia Number 25 of 2007 concerning Investment; Law of the Republic Indonesia number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions; Law of the Republic Indonesia number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services; Government Regulation of the Republic Indonesia number 38 of 2007 concerning The Division of Governmental Functions between Central Government, Provincial/Local Government Administration and Kabupaten/City Local Government Administration; Government Regulation of the Republic Indonesia number 62 of 2008 concerning Amendment to the Government Regulation Number 1 of 2007 concerning Income Tax Facility For Investment In Certain Business Fields and/or Certain Regions, Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 27 of 2009 concerning One-Door Integrated Services of Investment; Finance Minister Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 176/PMK.011/2009 concerning Exemption of Import Duty for Machinery and Materials for Industrial Development under Capital Investment Program; Head of Investment Coordinating Board Regulation Number 11 of 2009 concerning One-Stop Services; Head of Investment Coordinating Board Regulation Number 12 of 2009 concerning Guidelines and Procedures of Investment Application; Head of Investment Coordinating Board Regulation Number 13 of 2009 concerning Guidance for and Procedures of Investment Control; Head of Investment Coordinating Board Regulation Number 14 of 2009 concerning Electronic Information and Licensing for Investment Services (SPIPISE); Many regulations and laws that aim to provide facilities for investors.
Based on the above matter, weplan to hold a Seminar regarding "Investment Policy in Indonesia in order to Increase Domestic and Foreign Investment".
The objective of this seminar is to provide the business community with accurate information, especially regarding investment policies recently issued by the Government to increase National Investment.
